FAQs + Studio policies

Is Pilates suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! We welcome all levels and tailor our classes to individual abilities. We recommend you start with a Form class to get your pilates journey started safely!

How often should I attend Pilates classes?

It depends on your goals, but we recommend 3 sessions per week for building strength and flexibility.

Can I attend classes if I have an injury?

Yes, but please inform your instructor before class so we can modify exercises to suit your needs. Instructors always do their best to accommodate in a group class setting, but some injuries may require private instruction. Always consult your doctor first.

Are grip socks required?

Yes, for your safety and hygiene, grip socks are required for all reformer classes. If you forget yours, we have some available for purchase at the studio!

Do I need to book a class in advance?

Yes, it is required to book ahead. You can easily reserve your spot online or via our app.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel, or 12 hours if you are a Platinum member. Late cancellations will result in a fee and forfeited class credit.

What happens if I’m running late?

We ask that you arrive a few minutes early, but if you’re running late, please call ahead. For safety reasons, we may not allow entry more than 10 minutes after class has started.

Is there parking available?

Yes, we have free parking right behind the studio and in our garage lot for your convenience. There is also ample street parking.

Do you have showers or changing rooms?

We have two clean, comfortable restrooms, but no showers at the moment.

Do you offer a free trial class?

We don't offer free trials because our spots are limited. However, we do have a 2-for-1 offer for new clients so you can try a couple of classes and get a feel for our studio!

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes, we offer one-on-one sessions for those looking for personalized attention and specific goals. Contact the front desk at hello@foundation-pilates.com to book your session today!

Can I attend Pilates while pregnant?

Yes, we offer prenatal modifications to ensure a safe and effective workout. We require all pregnant clients to use a stability pole when standing on the reformer. Please consult your doctor first.
